First impressions

I was drawn into the story pretty fast. I think by the job interview I wanted to know what the book was about. I found the style and the narative voice intriguing and I could feel the difference in cultures; it's depicted in a few specific details. I also feel there is some veil "hanging around", both closeness and distance at the same time. The contrasts pull.

By chapter one and half I just want to read on, LOL. Bye bye, CU later :smileyvery-happy:

Re: First impressions

Is there a way this story could unfold well? What would be the prerequisites?
