Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Ooh, I somehow had missed that Nicole Upson was coming - I have read her first Josephine Tey mystery, and have the second on my TBR pile!

That's the one I have TBR.  I've had it for a while, but haven't gotten to it yet.  I enjoyed the first one enough to buy the second!

Rain check on Tom Wood's one-day feature. He's in England, so the time difference may be a problem. I'm working with his publicist here in the U.S., trying to figure out the best way to do this. Stay tuned for more info!

Re: Barnes & Noble Mystery Forum Schedule

July is going to be a little different. I'm going to be in Florida later in the month, helping my daughter move (she's coming to Chicago!) and since it's been very quiet all summer, I decided to keep our featured guests to a minimum.

We do have a guest joining us next week - you requested I invite Blaize Clement, who sadly is no longer with us: http://www.heraldtribune.com/article/20110727/ARTICLE/110729607

Image of Blaize Clement

But her son John, who co-authored this month's release, will be joining us next week!

The Cat Sitter's Cradle

Week of July 8 – John Clement (son of Blaize Clement)

Throughout the month we'll be featuring July releases, and a few authors might stop by. I'll announce the features day by day.

Check back in case there are more updates!

Re: Barnes & Noble Mystery Forum Schedule

Becke, that's exciting that your daughter is moving to Chicago, too!  She's leaving DisneyWorld?  It will be nice to have the family all together!

I hope that Fricka will be able to get back onto the forum - my guess is that auther was one of her requests!
