Yeah that's where HULU, Fancast, and Netflix comes in, for the slow days and the remote areas. Some day there just isn't cr*p on. And I have over 300 channels. Why 42 of them are sports junk, 8 are shopping, 38 are news, 40 just role around with on demand selections, and 28 are music; who exactly selects these channels?

A Another "Hollywood Mystery"Probably Ryan Seacrest,he must own more than we know under different corporations..I am just speculating, but its also based on "Those Polls" by "Them"whomever they are.,monitoring our viewing habits"Big BrotherAgain"..It seems to change weekly, then we are searching again..Where did that program go..I just ask TBear...She knows...Danka...Vtc

I'm not a big fan of practical jokes but this one makes me laugh now, not then.

When my daughter was 16, she and her boyfriend at the time came into our family room and (yeah you can guess what she did can't you) she told us she was pregnant.

And then after a very pregnant pause, she said April Fools

Oh, that had to be upsetting when your daughter told you she was pregnant. Not the kind of joke I prefer.

Hey, what is everyone reading? I decided to reread Agatha Christie and there's a great book out called "Agatha Christie's Secret Notebook" I downloaded it and it's qiute interesting. Plus, I heard through a forum that another book of Agatha Christie's has been found and will be published in September, 2010.

My life is a reading list.

I can see it would take a few years to laugh about that joke.

Very brave boyfriend to be there with her.

I bought the notebooks but haven't read them yet. September will be a Month of Christie here in honor of her birthday. We'll be talking about her books -- and books about Christie -- and a lot of famous authors will be blogging about Christie. Mark your calendars!

I have had a TIVO for years and I have upgraded to a new TIVO last year, I really love my Tivo, but I have several friends that don't have a Tivo or a DVR from their cable company.  One of my friends is always falling asleep on her favorite show and missing it 2 or 3 weeks in a row.  She decided to get a DVR from her Cable company.  I gave her other suggestions such as hulu.com, but she is on her computer all day at work, so she doesn't have the patience to watch a show on her computer at home, or as she put it, what computer at home?

Hi Tig, I know what you mean, however my cable company just did a big upgrade to their channel lineup and it seems to me that I have a lot more to choose from, but in a good way.
