Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

I will have to look at that Christopher Pike book. I know I read some of his when the kids were that age.

I am sure maxcat will be bringing her red knitting. So I might try to crochet some red flowers. I have been out of the habit, need to get back to some of my hobbies.

I have seen both of those movies and they're good.

That's the perfect way to start RED day, a bloody mary. Ever wonder why it is called that?

Suze, I love Maggie Sefton,s books. They're really good. Also, Debbie Macomber has her Blossom Street series going and the books involve knitting. What's everyone wearing? Ive got a pair of red shorts and a pink t-shirt on.

maxcat,

The bloody mary (looked at wikipedia) had several people who said they invented it and several different reasons for the name. I always think of Queen Mary I of England, her nickname of Bloody Mary.

I like this crochet series. This kind of book is fun and they have patterns sometimes.

I think Becke was thinking of a month with crafty kind of books.

I am wearing my Red Riding Hood Outfit or my Red Hat Outfit.

Not sure what to put the dogs in.They decided on a simple red/paw print hoodie.

Good morning all my BFF's, and T G I F!!!!

Luanne could you pick up a LRRH costume too and a Big Bad Wolf for my police man he he.

I love your choice in outfits my dear and it goes so well with the color theme of the day.

The only Christopher Pike I know was a Captain of a starship that was lost and Jim Kirk and Spock found him.

And also you and I are on the same wavelink about camping, I'll rough it by staying at a Motel 6 instead of a Marriott. ;-) but the tent looks very comfy just as long as they sprayed it for B U G S

ick.

Now bring on the weekend!!!
