Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

I can play cards. I like to play cards for "fun". But I can embarrass myself and those I play with. It is an odd phenomena, kind of paranormal.

Vermontcozy, Suze, Yes,it does. I am trying to finish it. I am not sure what to make of it. I saw really great reviews but for me it doesn't do much but maybe it is just me.

I will stop in for a quick lunch around 11:30. I leave to go to work at 1:00. I work 1:30 to 9 because of book club and I am in charge. Lucky me.

I can hardly wait for my trip. I had a great time last year and I am sure that I will again. I am taking pictures this time.

I feel the same. More clothes is better in case you can change or change you mind on what to wear.

I got my jewelry ready and I have what I am going to wear for the Sat night banquet. I hope I win a door prize and can find some good bargains.

I will see you for lunch.

I will give Callie a hug for you.

I used to play pinochle with my mom and dad back home. My husband and I used to play gin rummy while he was in the service and we were stationed in Panama.

Ditto to that, Luanne. I don't play for money, just the fun of it is all.

Friday night? Sure I can do that, Suze. I watched Haven  last night. It was very good and still lives up to Steven King's writing.

Re: Crepes for a Quiet Monday

Hi, Patti. I hope your fridge gets taken care of before you go on your trip. You have quite an agenda planned this year for that trip. Hope you find some good buys.

Re: Crepes for a Quiet Monday

Vermontcozy, Lunch looks great. I am hungry. I just finished my book club book. I am glad. I am not sure what to make of it. I know that I would probably not recommend it.

I have picked some on my own books to take on my trip. I don't want to lose a library book while I am gone.

I have two in my suitcase.

Callie is missing everyone at the island. She loved her pet friends and all her aunts and Uncle Jim.

I have a ferry wating to get me back so I can get to work.
