Kayla, I have a set of the round Knifty Knitters looms but never got into them. I'll rethink as they have pattern books out now.

I have a few of the pattern books...

Loom Knitting Primer

Learn to Knit on Circle Looms  I don't neccessarily follow the patterns but I like the how to on different stitches and the little tips they throw in there about tension and felting and such...Kayla

Thanks for putting the books here. I was going to ask you to do that. I have the circle looms, but didn't do too much with them. I think I need a bok with a pattern, like for a hat.

The knitting primer shows you how to use the circle looms and long looms with patterns for a variety of things and step by step instructions with pictures. I've also found that some of the yarn brands have websites with patterns for the looms as well. What I like best is when they describe the gauge they tell you how to compensate for loose tension and tight tension, which is something I've always had a problem with. Kayla

Thanks for all the information. I need to get back and work with those looms. I know I had made a scarf before. I was digging my winter gear out. Trying to pick out a new color or style to add to my collection.

Yes, we are going. My husband knows where it is and it will be cool!

Tigger, you got inundated up there with rain. We had about 3". I think that squares us with the drought situation. It won't heat back up. There's a nice cold front coming behind this rain and it will be in the 40's down here at night. But seriously, are you okay after all the rain?

Re: Whoho!

Hear, hear, Tigger, I'm with you there about the commercials. My husband is deaf in his right ear and he still pushes that mute button on the remote especially since most of the commercials are political trash.

It's my 39th anniversary on Saturday. (And I'll be out of town.) My 40th high school reunion is this weekend, too, but I'll be at the writer's conference.

Did I miss Maxcat's birthday?

Well the market next door is butter yellow, white, and ocean blue toned. If you noticed last visit. I know with the shear range of exotic organic goodies most people don't even look at the walls. Much less the murals I painted on the ceiling.:smileywink:

Hmm how about sea foam shades? I'm thinking frothy ocean, frothy creams.....

Quite a few nice shades of sea foam green. Hmmm

Excellent, Tigger!  Most Excellent!!  I like the continuation of the color scheme throughout!  Ya know, I am easy to please.  I don't ask for much; just go with the flow.  Easy Island living ya know. I am all about island time,

YES! The legislation to limit the volume of commercials to the max volume during the program has passed the senate, and is passing the house. Expected to be law post elections in November. WHOHO no more commercials shouting at max volume at you 10 times the noise level of the show!

If you don't understand my enthusiasm. I've been annoyed (and b*tching) about this for over 2 years now. And yes I did send a couple of letters out to my representatives, on "Can't the FCC do something about advertisers making America deaf?!" So this makes me very happy, politicians finally got something right without pork!:smileyvery-happy:

What did you say?  It is very hard to hear you over the annoyingly loud political ads!

6 gallons at least 5 for everyone, 1 for judges. More for everyone can be more votes for you.
