Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Welcome to my world, becke. I often feel like I'm just Gnome fodder!

That list looks good, but, well, it looks a bit top-heavy with thrillers. Don't know about Amanda Flowers' books. I have read Lois' and Beth's books, so I'm sure I'll enjoy reading, re-reading, and discussing those books.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of cozy authors, too! We can add Penny Warner to the list:

How to Dine on Killer Wine (Party Planning Mystery Series #5)

How to Party with a Killer Vampire (Party Planning Mystery Series #4)

How to Survive a Killer Seance (Party Planning Mystery Series #3)

How to Crash a Killer Bash (Party Planning Mystery Series #2)

How to Host a Killer Party (Party Planning Mystery Series #1)

The Code Busters Club, Case #1

Official Nancy Drew Handbook

I will be very happy to read those books by Penny Warner, becke, especially now that I know that she's the one who did that cute mystery necklace you included in my last Got Books? package.

Our featured author for next week is ELIZABETH HAYNES. She's never visited with us before, so I hope you'll give her a big welcome. Also, on Tuesday we'll have a guest blog from Rebecca Cantrell about her new book, co-authored with James Rollins.

Also, this didn't come up when I searched "Add Product" but it did come up on the main search site:

The Friend: A Short Story

Overview

Like a billion people on earth, aspiring actress Piper Donovan is a fervent Facebook follower. But what she doesn't know is that a "friend" is following her. Possibly . . . stalking. A fan who starts by using the same beauty salon eventually comes closer—much closer—in this chilling short story.

Yay! I'm so glad you were able to sign in. Is this the sign-in name you want to use? I'll get your "author" tag assigned.

Re: Additions to the February schedule for the Mystery Forum

Update: Peter Robinson is hard at work on his new book. I'll post his guest blog as soon as I receive it, but it doesn't look as if it's going to be ready by tomorrow. More to come!

Peter is without internet access right now so we're going to reschedule his guest blog. I'll post the new date as soon as I have it!
