Hmm. Do you prefer humorous mysteries a la Janet Evanovich, or the darker style of the J.D. Robb books? Do you like romance with your mysteries? Tell us a little more about what you like - we'll give you LOTS of suggestions!

Yes, i am looking for a crime/romance combo - and i prefer a series.
I like both - funny - but it also can be a little bit mor serious.
As long as it is a mix of romance/crime - i am happy :-)
I do prefer Janet over JD - but both are great.
Thank you for trying to help me!

You might like Jayne Ann Krentz - her books combine mystery, romance, adventure and some have humor, too.
Sizzle and Burn (Arcane Society Series #3)
Running Hot (Arcane Society Series #5)
White Lies (Arcane Society Series #2)

Some of her books are in a series and others stand alone. She also writes as Jayne Castle and Amanda Quick. Her Arcane Society books are written both under Amanda Quick (the ones set in the past) and Jayne Ann Krentz (the contemporary romantic suspense ones).
Mary Stewart is a classic author you might like. There are so many authors I hardly know where to start, but here's another: Elizabeth Peters. Like Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb and Jayne Ann Krentz/Jayne Caste/Amanda Quick, she writes under a couple of pen names. Here are some of the books she wrote as Barbara Michaels:
