For those writers on the list, or anyone wondering what a writer goes through when faced with the thought of one's work being rejected, stop by my guest blog at Meanderings and Muses:

Robin - as a struggling writer, I hope this isn't going to be my theme for today -- first email I opened was from my critique partner, with a link to Angela James blog on "Reasons for Rejection" at Carina Press. Here's a link to that one:http://carinapress.com/2010/02/reasons-for-rejecti
I'm going to check them both out now!

Good blog on reasons for rejection, Becke! I think it's always helpful to read something like that when starting out a new book (or perhaps when editing a work in progress) as a checklist. Especially reasons in the #10 section.

Have you ever wondered why the loner, alcoholic sleuth is often considered more interesting to readers than the cozy sweet little old lady sleuth? I offer up a few suggestions in a blog post at The Lipstick Chronicles.
Come join me and put in your two cents! I'd love to hear your opinion.

I wanted to invite all of you to drop by the Murderati blog (a great blog for mystery readers!) to read my guest post, a tongue-in-cheek look at tax time!
In how a writer of international thrillers about covert government agencies and conspiracy theories discovers a dark secret… about herself.
