I just updated the schedule - check it out!

Updating AGAIN because I can't read my calendar! Big thanks to Jean Harrington for bringing my date mix-up to  my attention!

Becke:

Is Heather Blake and Cathy Perkins coming on the 23rd or 13th?

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe this time I'll get it right. That's the 23rd - sorry about that!!

Ok thanks! That does make more sense!

I'd add a little wine to Eleanor Roosevelt's perfect day.  Ha!  Jean H.

That would be ideal, I would have to agree!

Wine on any day makes the day a great one.  It's always wine-thirty somewhere!

I love the "wine-thirty" pun.  Never heard it before!  Better than, "It has to be five o'clock somewhere."

While we're on the subject...I joked to a friend of mine during a frustrating week before Christmas that I needed either chocolates or wine. So I cracked up when she gave me this for Christmas:

Some of my friends gakked when I described it to them, but it was REALLY good - kind of like Bailey's Irish Creme!

I've seen chocolate wine in the store, but was hesitant.  But from your description, maybe I'll try it!

I guess some chocolate wines are gross, but this one was really good. I knew I couldn't finish a bottle by myself so I brought it to a New Year's Eve party. It was a big hit!

I had some at dinner one night. The owner of the restaurant gave us a free glass to try. It was great.

Re: January at Barnes & Noble's Mystery Forum

The mystery is how someone actually thought of making wine out of chocolate.  Enjoy!  Jean Harrington

I would just take my favorite wine and mix in some Hershey chocolate syrup! LOL!

I got this kind, not the brand you got, but I also thinks it's tastes like a chocolate Baileys

Re: January at Barnes & Noble's Mystery Forum

Jean Harrington already wrote a guest blog for us this month, but I liked her Agatha Christie-related blog so much I'm going to post it at the Mystery Forum this Friday.

I'll also be posting a link to a guest blog written by yours truly - it's related to Agatha Christie, and will appear on Friday at another blog. I'll post the link when it goes up.

oooh, very exciting news, becke. As it's Thursday evening as I'm writing this, I only have to wait until tomorrow to read Jean's and your  blogs.

In reading some of the back chat, I noticed the bits about Chocolate Wine. At first, that didn't sound very good to me, but then I read where becke said it was sort of like Bailey's, and I love Bailey's. Now I have to wonder where I can find some of this Chocolate wine to try. ( Olive Garden is good about letting customers sample wine, but I don't know if the franchise has Chocolate wine in its repertoire yet.) Any suggestions as to how I could get a sample taste?

I'm not sure where to buy it - I received mine as a gift. It really was tasty, though!

Re: January at Barnes & Noble's Mystery Forum

Change to the schedule - Tim Dorsey isn't going to have time to write a guest blog for us this month after all, but we're going to try to schedule him for a later date.
