At the moment it doesn't look like she's going to have time to visit, but she is writing a guest blog for us! :-)

I actually own Case of the Horrified Heirs and haven't read it yet.   I'm super excited.  I will have to see if I can get the other ones too.

I posted those as examples because they are in print. My dad had tons of these books when I was a kid, and I continued to read them all through high school and, for awhile, after I was married.

Two that I still remember are THE CASE OF THE VELVET CLAWS (the first Perry Mason novel), THE CASE OF THE DUPLICATE DAUGHTER and THE CASE OF THE GOLD-DIGGERS PURSE.

I saved a favorite from back then, a short story collection:

THE CASE OF THE IRATE WITNESS (mine has a library cover)

The Case of the Irate Witness

The Case of the Queenly Contestant

I still have two Perry Mason novels, The Case of the Queenly Constestant and The Case of the Crying Swallow.  Some of the other American classic mystery authors I used to have, but not any more.

I think I have more Perry Mason's in the book boxes in my garage. I have a few Doris Miles Disney books, a few Helen MacInnes, a few Charlotte Armstrong. I have a hard time parting with old favorites!

Well, this is a very big clue to the alter ego of one of our visiting authors! ;-)

Debbie - If you think of it, come by and remind us of Robyn's guest post, etc. I'm likely to forget about it.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. Maybe this time I'll get it right. That's the 23rd - sorry about that!!
