As this blog showed, Agatha Christie ia alive and well--even if knee deep in dead bodies. Love the idea of the game where you have to discover the clues leading to the murder. It sounds like it could be a crash course for the mystery writer. Does anyone know the name of the game? Jean

There used to be one called "Clue" (after the board game) by Hasbro Interactive, but it hasn't worked really correctly since Windows 98 and the Hasbro people haven't supported it in years. By today's standards, I'm sure it's awfully bland, but, in its day, the graphics were stunning, years ahead of their time. It was part of a series: Life, Stratego, Frogger and some others I've forgotten. If you have an old computer that still runs, you might be able to find a copy at Half Price Books.
I'm not really familiar with any other mystery-type computer games, but I've seen computer games based on characters like Nancy Drew and the cast of CSI. Sadly, though, I don't think they would have the same feel as going through a spooky old house looking for clues.

I agree, Thom, Nothing like a pooky old huse for chills and thrills. Disney World does such a good job with theirs, we had to drag my little daughter out SCREAMING. Now that's a haunting! Good comment, thank you. Jean Harrington
