July at B&N's Mystery Forum

[ Edited ]

This is what's coming up in July:

Friday, July 1 – Guest blog by Thomas Kaufman

Steal the Show

Week of July 4: Adrienne Giordano – It's an Independence Day/Week new release party! Adrienne, author of the new Carina Press romantic suspense release MAN LAW, is bringing along her friends Tracey Devlyn, Nancy Naigle and Tracy March to join the fun!

July 5 – Guest blog by Gregory Murphy

Incognito

Week of July 11: Rebecca Cantrell

A Game of Lies

Week of July 18: Donna Andrews

The Real Macaw (Meg Langslow Series #13)

Week of July 25:: Karen Harper

A note about author guest blogs: Authors often - but not always - stop in to respond to comments. I'm sure they read them all, though, and you never know when they might drop in!

Also, while I've listed a few guest blogs here, I'm sure there will be a few more surprises as the month goes on!

Coming up in August: A Month of Suspense and Thrillers!

Becke:

Looks great to me! More books, more authors - life is easy when all you do is read!

Eadie - Here's a hint. The author I'm waiting to confirm was specially requested by one of our participants here. Stay tuned!

Let me guess - Donna Andrews! That would be cool if you can get her!

I met Karen at the Central Ohio Fiction Writers conference last October. We planned her visit way back then!

Re: July at B&N's Mystery Forum

That would be great to have Donna here.  I just picked up the first Turing Hopper book and the first Meg Langslow book at the library.  I love the titles in the Meg Langslow series (or the Birds series, as I like to call it)..

Re: July at B&N's Mystery Forum

Having problems with the quote function again!

anyway, Thanks for the virtual doughnuts and tea, becke! They look yummy, and best of all--no calories!;-)

I would like to add my voice to those who are saying they are thrilled that Donna Andrews will be joining us here in July. I read Six Geese A-Slaying last December, and got quite a few chuckles out of it. I think I mentioned my visit to the library yesterday--well, I also picked up Stork Raving Mad by Ms. Andrews as well. I'm looking forward to reading it!

While I'm at it, I have to confess with some chagrin that I'm not at all familiar with any of the other authors who are going to be joining us here in July. However, I'm always open to finding new reading material. I'll be interested to find out all about the authors and their works when they visit here.

Tom Kaufman visited last year, Fricka, when his first book came out:

Drink the Tea

Rebecca Cantrell and Kelli Stanley did a joint visit some time back:

And she recently wrote a guest blog for us: http://bookclubs.barnesandnoble.com/t5/Mystery/Guest-Blog-by-Author-REBECCA-CANTRELL/m-p/982568/high...

Debut romantic suspense author Adrienne Giordano and I both blog at Romance University - she and her guest Tracey Devlyn (whose first book will be published soon) are founding members of RU, along with Kelsey Browning:
