OK,  checklist from just this thread.

Bought and started Shirley Jackson’s short stories for LBW.

Hi Nancy, it's actually Classics that we're reading Jackson's short stories for this month!  We did do one of her novels on LBW a while back, though, so it's easy to get confused.  I'm way behind getting anything going, though, because I've had a killer cold for almost two weeks now and my head's still fuzzy!  I've mostly just posted stuff about Jackson and her work, and haven't gotten any individual story threads going.  But we're relaxed over there, and if we spill over into next month, no big deal.  Glad to hear you're interested in joining us!!!

Hi Dulcinea,

That’s right, Classics, I knew that.  It’s The Bone People in LBW.  No worries about getting the threads up, hope you get to feeling better and better.  I like to read slowly anyway and really savor every word, so I’m trying to read just a story (or two) a night.

Lots of interesting looking books going through this thread. Thanks Becke for putting all this together in one place for everyone and thanks to all the authors for putting their own stuff out here and featuring friends new novels as well. If at all possible it would be wonderful if you, Becke, or someone else in "the know", could get Daniel Silva  on the Mystery Forum to talk about his upcoming book in the Gabriel Allon series that's being released fairly soon, next week I believe. For anyone who's not familiar with Silva's work he, in my humble opinion, is one of the most talented espionage/mystery writers right now and it would be great to get some insight into the series

I've been in touch with Daniel Silva's publicist. I was hoping he could join us in August but he's going to be traveling. Hopefully we can set something up for a future date!

I'll check into this! So far this week I've had requests for visits from Daniel Silva and Donna Andrews. Tomorrow our featured guest is Sofie Kelly, an author Fricka requested. I do try to respond to your requests!

Donna Andrews will be visiting here in July!
