You might want to re-read a couple of those, then, becke! The first book is Murder at Bishop's Keep. That brings Kate over from America to work for her Aunt Ardleigh, and places her in the neighborhood of Marsden Manor, which is being visited by Sir Charles Sheridan, an amateur criminologist and naturalist.
