Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Meet the Publisher: KENSINGTON

Hi Becke! I'm sorry I'm late to the party but I was at my parents house (mom had surgery yesterday).

Thanks for posting on Twitter! I wanted to swing by and say howdy. I'm Beth Williamson, also writing as Emma Lang, for Kensington Brava.

I have three books as Beth and two as Emma, with two more Emma books along the way. My books are historical westerns on the spicy side. :smileywink:

My latest release is Restless Heart, set in 1870s Wyoming.

Restless Heart

Howdy y'all!

Beth

It's a little scary - in a good way. No matter how fast I read, I can't keep up with all the books I want to read!

You made me tear up - I love this tribute to Kate, especially the "Kate" comments. I miss her a lot too. :smileysad:

Beth - I've met Alicia Condon, who is lovely, but I never had the pleasure of meeting Kate. I've heard so many wonderful things about her - I knew if we featured Kensington Kate would definitely be part of the story.

I also want to give a shout-out to the fabulous Vida Engstrand, who made this whole event possible. Thanks, Vida - you're the best!

Re: Meet the Publisher: KENSINGTON

Hey Becke!  This is a wonderful intro to Kensington.  I'm very proud to be a Kensington Author - and one of Kate's authors as well.  As everyone has already said, she'll be missed.  Sylvia Day and I were talking about her not too long ago, saying that being introduced to publishing by Kate Duffy was a one of a kind experience.

Grins.

BTW, the Washington Romance Writers also have a Kate Duffy Memorial fund.  :smileyembarrassed:

She is missed, every day.

From what I hear, Kate Duffy gave a lot of today's best selling authors their start.  I wish I could have met her.
