What is your normal day like? Do you have set times devoted to writing?

I 'm usually in my office and working by 7 a.m.  That's actually later than it used to be.  When my children were young, I'd do my writing before they got up in the morning.  Now, I like to get started before the phone calls and other interruptions get in the way.  I'll work until 5 on most days.  Most of my time is spent on the writing, but of course there are so many other aspects to consider these days, like checking in on Facebook and answering emails.  It all makes for a very busy day.  When I get tired, I rewrite.

Your contemporary romantic suspense are among the very best written. I grabbed the LP version at the lib. when the WL was so long for the reg. print version. I was captivated by Olivia. And Grayson.....whoa! The cover came close. Usually the covers are often of too ..."girly men" as the actor/governor said. Please continue with your contemporary romantic/suspense...but maybe write faster???

I hear a lot of authors complain that they're spending almost as much time on social media as they do on writing these days. It must be exhausting!

Does it drive you crazy when people don't appreciate how hard you work?

Social media does take up more time these days, but it also allows me to talk to readers, and I love that.

What's frustrating for me are the phone calls from people who immediately ask if I'm working, and when I say yes, they proceed as if I had all the time in the world.  I guess it's because I work at home and they think I'm always available.

I have that same problem! Of course, I'm not as busy as you are, but it is still really frustrating. And so many people don't appreciate that writing is WORK - and incredibly hard work, at that.
