Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Unfinished Business is definitely a teasing title. HARLEQUIN know what they're doing.

Wendy - Are your books going to be ebook only or is there a chance they'll be in print at some point? Also, will you be doing any Barnes & Noble book signings/visits this year?

I have a very close friend who loves these books, so I'm going to have to check them out.  Thanks for the information!

I've been writing seriously for about ten years. Some of my favourite writers. Daphne duMaurier. I love the way she could cross the divide between historical and contemporary. Jane Austen - obviously. Judith McNaught, for the same reason as DduM.

At the moment they are only ebooks. Harlequin make the decision about putting titles into print. Authors can only hope! No plans for signings at B&N right now but hopefully, some time in the not too distant future it will happen.

About how long does it take you to write a book, Wendy? Do you look for inspiration from real life events or are your stories strictly the products of your imagination?

That's the one. Mind you, we're talking a lot of years ago when security wasn't such an issue. I doubt there's a single gap in the fence nowadays!

These crime books take a lot of time and research - so six months, I guess. My romances probably take about four. Now, here's a secret. I also write erotica as Zara Chase and can do one of those a month. Yes, I need to get a life!

In a MONTH? Wow, that's impressive!

Have you discovered any strange facts while doing your research?

I actually know someone who registered with the tax man as a 'pornographer'. I kid you not. Obviously, that went into a book!

Spelling is important! That's hilarious!
