About Suzanne Brockmann...
Since her explosion onto the publishing scene more than
ten years ago, Suzanne Brockmann has written fifty
books, and is now widely recognized as one of the
leading voices in romantic suspense.
Her work has earned her repeated appearances
on the USA Today and New York Times bestseller
lists, as well as numerous awards, including Romance
Writers of America's #1 Favorite Book of the Year
(three years running), two RITA Awards, and many
Romantic Times Reviewers' Choice
Awards.
Married to author Ed Gaffney, Suz divides her time
between Sarasota, Florida; Boston, Massachusetts and
New York City. They have two grown children, Melanie,
who is a personal trainer, and Jason, who is an actor and
tap dancer, and two miniature schnauzers, C.K.
Dexter-Haven and Little Joe, both of whom (unlike Mel
and Jason) still live at home.
Suz is a proud member of PFLAG -- Parents, Families
and Friends of Lesbians and Gays. She is also a
card-carrying member of the American Civil Liberties
Union, the Human Rights Campaign, and MassEquality.
A firm believer in civil rights for all people, she has fought
hard to bring equal marriage rights to all citizens of her
home state, Massachusetts.

Izzy Zanella wasn't looking for another reason to butt heads
with his Navy SEAL teammate and nemesis, Danny Gillman.
But then he met Danny’s beautiful younger sister, Eden. When
she needed it most, he offered her a place to stay, a shoulder to
cry on—and more. And when she got pregnant with another
man’s child, he offered her marriage. But Eden’s devastating
miscarriage shattered their life together—and made the intense
bad blood between Izzy and Danny even worse.
Now Eden's back, on a mission to rescue her teen brother, Ben,
from their abusive stepfather. Even if she and Izzy can prove
that their broken marriage is still in one piece, winning legal
custody of Ben is a long shot. But they’re not alone: Danny
and his girlfriend Jenn offer to help, and he and Izzy agree to
bury the past and fight for Ben’s future.
As they plan their strategy, Izzy and Eden grapple with the raw
passion that still crackles between them—while Danny and
Jenn confront new depths in their own rocky relationship. But
events take a terrifying turn after Ben befriends a girl fleeing a
child prostitution ring. When the young runaway seeks refuge
with Eden and Izzy, her pursuers kidnap Ben—and a deadly
standoff begins. Now, they must all pull together like never
before and strike back, swift and hard, to protect their
unconventional little family and everything they hold most
precious.

Hi Suz - Just wanted to say Hi - I feel like we've all been holding our breath waiting for Izzy's book. I know that you have said that it is the longest that you have written - Is it because you are sort of wrapping some things up because you've said that it may be a while until you write another Troubleshooters book, or because Izzy had a lot to say ? Thanks for coming...

Hi Suzanne, you in my opinion are the head Goddess of romantic suspense and one of a very few authors that I wait in line for at the book store B&N of course to get a new release. Of course saying that I love you only for your writing would be like saying I only like chocolate because it's brown, your stands for what you believe in also make you the Rock Star that you are.
Thank you so much for being here today. And thanks for being you, a someone I look up to and aspire to.

Anne - I've had the pleasure of reading Izzy's book, and I think it might be longer than usual because it's two romances in one book. You're right, Izzy has a lot to say, but there are a lot of things going on (I was literally on the edge of my seat) - I never "felt" like I was reading a really long book. It just flew!
Suz and Ed are involved in another project right now, but she has said she'll probably come back and write at least one more Troubleshooters book. I sure hope so!

News from Suz Brockmann

Find me on facebook, at Suz Brockmann's Troubleshooter's World
http://www.facebook.com/SuzBrockmannTSWorld
**********************************
February 28, 2011
It's almost March!
And I wasn't going to send out another e-newsletter until later in March, but I left something kinda important out of the last one -- so this is just going to be a quick P.S.
I forgot to tell you that I'm doing a "Countdown to Izzy" on my website, http://www.SuzanneBrockmann.com .
Mondays through Thursdays (and the occasional Friday) I'll be posting a new page as we countdown the days to the March 22nd release of BREAKING THE RULES.
The countdown started on February 22nd, and I've already posted:
* A cast list of characters who appear in BREAKING THE RULES
* A 20-Question "All About Izzy" Quiz to test your knowledge of all things Izzy
* The answers to that 20-Question "All About Izzy" Quiz (with excerpts from various TS books)
* Info and the link to tonight's BN.com Mystery Forum Chat
Upcoming countdown pages include:
* Recommended reads
* Recommended viewings
* More info about my new TS short story, WHEN TONY MET ADAM, including the story's official blurb. (And maybe some cover art)
* Info about my March 2nd Facebook chat with Brilliance audiobook reader, Patrick Lawlor (the voice of Izzy)
* My official Izzy playlist
* An excerpt from BTR called "Meet Ben Gillman"
* And lots more...
My apologies for failing to mention the Countdown to Izzy in my last email newsletter. I've got mother-of-the-bride brain -- I'm currently working on a zillion different projects, including helping my daughter plan her July wedding!
Okay, that's all for this time -- oh, except I just received the shipment of WHEN TONY MET ADAM "Extra" booklets that'll be going out as a bonus with my BREAKING THE RULES virtual signing and they are very shiny. They truly look awesome! (And all the pages are in the right order!) I'm jazzed.
Get a signed collector's edition of WHEN TONY MET ADAM with a hardcover copy of Izzy's book! For more information:http://www.suzannebrockmann.com/btrVirtualSigning.
