Congratulations! The majority of my reading material lately are indie authors and non agency authors. The quality is often just as good if not better...and the price is a fraction of the cost of an agency author! Glad to see some of them getting the recognition they deserve!

I read Slammed and it was a great book.  One of my favorite authors is JD Nixon, another indie writer who publishes on Smashwords.  Check her out--she has 2 series of books and the first book of each series is free "Heller" and "Blood Ties".  Fair warning though--you will be completely hooked and will want to read the rest of her books!  Her writing is excellent.

Thanks for the heads up! I have several of those books but haven' t had a chance to read them yet.. I'll move them up on my "to read" list!

I'm driving a LOT lately to pick up parts and supplies for the family business and listening to my audio books from Sync, on the road. Hooked my NC up to my car stereo with a cassette adapter and I'm a happy camper. But in a week or two, I'll be more in the office and I'll be reading instead of listening when we aren't busy.
