Comparable Authors? [ Edited ]

Hi ,

I read Heather Graham books, just her paranormal ones and also Kay Hooper and Nora Roberts. I read different authors as well but these are my favorites. Does anyone know of other authors out there that are similar to these? I like paranormal just not with vampires or werewolves. Thanks for any help, I would be happy to lend some of my books if anyone wants to share.

You might try searching B&N for some of your favorite books by those authors, then checking out the books listed under "Customers Who Bought This Also Bought."

A fun place to find similar authors is http://www.literature-map.com/

Here, you type in an author's name and it brings up a "map" of other authors. The closer an author's name is to the center of the map, the more similar their style to your target author.

The map evolves based on searches done by visitors. So it's worth checking back a time or two to see if there are any new similar authors.

Have you tried the In Death series by Nora Roberts? If so you may like Catherine Coulter's FBI Series.

As for the para. I like some but not a lot & have found just what I needed in Janye Anne Krentz's books. She has her Arcare Series & other fun ones with her alter egos Amanda Glass & Amanda Quick.
