Free Fridays blues

I like free fridays. I do! But I've got the free friday blues because 1) it is a romance yet again and 2) its a romance that has been free for several weeks already.

Re: Free Fridays blues

Hi All,

We're certainly working with the publishers to make more free books available. Hopefully we'll hit on something that's, well, a hit...

Do not dispare, Paul. I'm sure there are people that love those types of pulp romance novels! And I'm not opposed to the occasional romance myself. When you offered a free copy of Petals from the Sky I read it and it was a good book.

As for publishers, well, we all know they don't want to give out the good stuff for free. But there are a lot of emerging authors out there that could benefit from a day or a weeks giving away of their book/ebook to get some word of mouth going. If publishers can't see that then what can you do? Not a lot.

It gets worse.  I downloaded the FF book and showed it to my wife.  Haven't seen my nook since.  :smileysad:
