I've read one, "The Dickens with Love" and I liked it.  I didn't LOVE it, but it was pretty good.  The sex is explicit, but there isn't all that much of it.  Like a typical romance novel.

Samhain is like Harlequin but with the rating pushed from pg-13 to xxx. Some books have had a good story, others are just written porn.

More from Sourcebooks in honor of Jane Austen's birthday. According to Sourcebooks, "These celebratory editions include the full novels, plus the legendary color illustrations of the Brock brothers, originally created to accompany the books in 1898."

I suspect the color illustrations will look better on NOOKcolor and NOOK apps than on the E-Ink NOOK.

These are not the actual covers. I haven't been able to find a source for the cover images, so I'm using some of the color images from Sourcebooks' Austen e-cards.

This is my list of short-term promotional NOOKbooks. I'm just listing the titles, without the covers. You can mouse over the title to see the cover if you want.

I took a quick look at this speculation of how terrorists could wreak havoc in the US with a few small-yield nukes, and I found it hard to take seriously. But maybe that's me.

Heck, in 1994 Tom Clancy wrote a novel that ended with a 747 being used as a weapon against the US Capitol, and not long afterward Al-Qaeda started working on using airliners as weapons against the US.
