How to return to the table of contents?

I purchased a collection for my new Nook Color with a dozen or so books packaged together. Once I select a book I want to read, how can I return to the table of contents? I don't want to have to go back a page 400 times to get back to the table of contents, but I can't find a menu that would let me return to the beginning.

How can I do this?

Thanks!

Yes, I want to know that too. Is there any way to go to a certain page or chapter? If not, then this nook is not going to be as helpful for studying as I had hoped. You can't flip through a book, scanning for the content you are looking for?

If GoTo -> Chapter is missing, then try GoTo->Page or GoTo->Cover.   Once at the cover, page forward to the table of contents.

It's the fault of the book publisher if they do not specify chapters, not the device itself.

I figured it out! Tap once in the middle of a page you're reading and a menu will pop up allowing you to navigate to where you want to go.

Re: How to return to the table of contents?

ok..figured it out.

Go TO> feature is not available if you did the 1.5 update.

1-tap lightly onece in center of screen.

2- a slide bar will appear on the bottom of screen.

3-use the slide to move to a different area of the book

i hope this is helpful

v1.5 was for the eink NOOK, not NOOKColor.

Most of the "Go To" advice is probably related to the e-ink NOOK, unless it specifically said NOOKColor.

Sometimes I wish the interfaces and software were more similar than they are.
