No Nookbook wish list

I can no longer access my Nookbook wish list. This is the wish list on the B&N website, not the wish list of my N2E. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

It's a known issue that B&N is working on, at least according to the numerous other threads on this topic.

Thanks. Would seem B&N would want to fix this ASAP since inability to see the wish list inhibits book buying.

You would think so, wouldn't you?  The ways (and priorities) of B&N are mysterious and inscrutable.

There have been numerous discussions all over these boards about this issue during the last few months. If you want too much information about it, here are a few of the most extensive:

Maybe they just fixed it! Not only can I access my nook wish list but I can add titles to it from the individual book pages for the first time in quite awhile.

I still can't access mine.  I can't get to it either on my Nook or the B&N website.

I used to be able to view my nookbook wish list, but today I went to add a book to my wish list and couldn't view it at all.  All I get is "The creation has reached the limit."

Well I  guess that the good news is that I am NOT the only one that is having this issue.

The bad news is that it has NOT been fixed.

I really do depend on my wish list when purchasing books and I really think that it is something that B&N should try and fix and failing that should at lease let us know what is going on.

I did call customer service and got a pat response "it's a known issue and it is being worked on", with that said it has been almost 2 weeks and still no fix in site

It is odd because I have several wish lists- some for gift ideas, DVDs, etc,, and all my other wish lists work, just not my ebooks list.

A big concern of mine is that once the wishlist is restored the old list will be lost and I'll have to start from scratch.

B&N promises the entries will still be there whenever you can get to the list again.

Of course B&N also promised the issue would be fixed.

I would really like to know what B&N considers the "known issue" to be.  I can access my eBook wishlist on both my N1E and the B&N website, and I can purchase books from my wishlist directly from my N1E, but when I try to purchase them from my wishlist on B&N, it takes me to my non-eBook wishlist.  In addition to not being able to make purchases directly from my wishlist, I also cannot add books to my wishlist using the "add to eBook wishlist" button on an item page; when I try, it tells me it has added the item to my wishlist, but when I go to my wishlist, it's not there.  The only way I can add items to my wishlist is to do use the "add item" button on the wishlist page.

Brandie, you're doing a lot better than I am with the wishlist.  I can't access either through the website or through my Nook 1E.  In fact, if I'm looking at a book description on my Nook, I don't even get an option to add it to my wishlist.

I got my Nook when the only one offered was the 1E with 3G, about 6 months or so after it came out.  I've been a very vocal advocate of Nook over Kindle.  I've been thinking about getting a Nook Tablet, but with the recent issues (the wishlist problem and the problem with shopping a couple of months ago), I'm seriously considering just waiting for a tablet to come out that's comparably priced that will allow me to download both Nook and Kindle apps.

I just read on another forum discussion that there's a way now to get to your wishlist. Or at least, I was able to get there. I check it every day and noticed today was the first day I had no Nookbook WIshlist in my Wishlist dropdown box. I came to the forums to find out what's up and saw that someone had posted that just for kicks, they had clicked on the barely visible dots in the dropbox box under "My wishlist" (where the Nookbook Wishlist link is usually posted) and sure enough, they got their Nookbook Wishlist. I just tried it and it works!!! YEAH!!!

Yes, I can also access mine with the normal link. Alas, all the prices of the books on my list are the same as they were the last time I was able to access it.

Thanks for the tip. It's there, but I definitely wouldn't have figured out how to find it, since it's pretty much a hidden link. Maybe they can work on recovering it now..

99% of the users do not read these boards, so would have no way of accessing the list.  So the list is fixed, but the link to it is broken.  Not really fixed.
