I just found out about this and already missed a couple of them. Drats! Each set of 2 audiobooks are free for one week and are drm free so you can burn them to cd or put them on your Nooks to listen to if you want.

Thanks for the post! This looks interesting. Unfortunately we missed the first week, but it looks like there are some interesting books coming up, including some that are on my wishlist.  Yea.

In order to burn them to cd, do you have to import them to itunes or just click and drag?

you don't have to use Itunes. I did use Overdrive to download them and overdrive then burned them to cds for me. They are drm free though so you can just download them and burn them with whatever program you use. I used dropbox/drop2sync to upload them to my Nook Color sd card. I have it set to put them on the card.

I've done this for the last couple of summers and it's a wonderful deal.  It's aimed at young adult readers, to encourage reading during the summer.  They mix a contemporary YA book with a classic with a similar theme  My MP3 player is stocked up now and I'm listening to The Eleventh Plague from  last week.  I still have a few from last summer to listen to.  

You can sign up so they send you an email next summer to announce the schedule and then they send you an email every Thursday to remind you to get the latest books.
