Hi everyone, just wanted to let you know The Job is available for Nook here at B&N.com. It is an exploration of spiritual themes through humor. To learn more about "The Job," check out the Facebook page or my blog.
"Joe B. enjoys the sweet life as a vice president at a huge conglomerate, Universal Whirligig. But along with the Big Boss’ favor, he has also gained the notice of a bitter human resources manager, Luci Fernandez. Hateful of any success but her own, Luci manages to get him demoted to the mailroom! A rollicking comedy of errors follows as Joe B. tries to figure out what's happened to him, and attempts to get a meeting with the Big Boss.
"Joe B.'s great expectations have taken an all-over twist. His family is forced to make a series of hard adjustments, and he gets only lame comforts from a string of the worst friends anyone could have. Will he finally track down the cause of his frustrations? Or will he only learn a lesson about what it is to be the boss, and that what is apparent is often only a shadow of a greater ongoing good? "The Job" is a comic tragedy, a modern parable of ancient troubles and truths."
Midwest Book Review calls it "A humorous and enlightening read, highly recommended."
Grace Krispy of MotherLode.com says, "The brilliance of this relatively short book is in its simple writing style and humorous outlook."
Please give it a look. Good reading!

I was gonna say, that TV show with Denis Leary was funny!
I've heard a lot about that show but never actually watched it. I should check it out on Hulu or something.

Quick plug for one of my other books here, literary fiction about the plight of mankind in a fallen world. Don't let the spiritual secrets escape you!
Domen, long ago cast upon the island Feallengod, schemes against King Ecealdor — unable to vanquish the distant monarch, he’s determined to destroy the people the king loves. As the suffering roils, Ecealdor seems absent and disinterested, the tokens of his love and protection becoming no more than hollow idols. Thereby the battle rages, men and women are drawn into choosing sides ... and all the islanders await some end to the tragedy that engulfs them.

Artur's world is changing. Can he knit together the five clans, those who barely tolerate each other, to fight the marauding Aoten? And can he overcome his own culture's taboos to win the fair Andreia? A tremendous journey and mighty adventure leads to the greatest climax in the world's history. Adventure and quest in a forgotten world.

New review! Hot stuff! You folks who are not really interested in Christian fiction in particular might want to give it a look!
"I'm not a fan of Christian Fiction. At all. Religion is a sore spot for me, so I tend to stay away from the subject, when possible. ... That being said, I enjoyed the book, a lot."
