I know we've had other threads on this, but they start to get long and buried.
I just finished:
The 8th Confession (Women's Murder Club Series #8)

I'm reading Flood
I'm not sure about it yet, not to far into it, but also glad I got it from the library. I've got Noah's Compass from the library waiting to be read also.

I am halfway through Ancestor, and absolutely addicted to it. I hardly want to put my Nook down to sleep or post on here.

Just got done with The Road and could read it again right now.
However, I am now reading Animal Farm. I read 1984 and loved it. Not that these are the same type of books, but Orwell is genius.

I am now reading Animal Farm
Animal Farm is still one of my favorites and I haven't read it in over 20 years (in high school).

I am now reading:
City of Glass (The Mortal Instruments Series #3)
and next I am going to read either
The Cardinal of the Kremlin or
The Hunger Games (Hunger Games Series #1)
Lately I have been on a YA kick... maybe I am just not ready to grow up...

Currently I'm reading:
I got caught up in all the hype and couldn't help myself. I'm only 150 pages in but so far it's really good.
Next, I'm going to read:
Killing Floor (Jack Reacher Series #1)
I had never read a Jack Reacher book until B&N offered the free coupon for Jack Reacher #9. I loved it so now I want to read all of them. The free coupons were a great way to introduce people to a new series. Thanks B&N!!!

How do you like the Mortal Instrument series? I finished the Hunger Games, and I'm hungry for more! Sadly - no eBook version of the next two installments. Hopefully when MockingJay comes out, Chasing Fire will be available. *crossing fingers*
Have you read the Percy Jackson series? It's another good YA, and I like Mythology, so it's kind of cool. How about The Unsuspecting Mage? Another good YA series (feels more like RPG to me!)
I'm currently reading Percy Jackson #2 and Chi Running. ![]()

Currently I'm reading
Milrose Munce and the Den of Professional Help -- Extended Version
which just became available on Smashwords for $1.99! This is the "Director's Cut" of the original version, and even more laugh-out-loud funny.
And I'm reading
Winter's Heart (Wheel of Time Series #9)
This month's Robert Jordan Wheel of Time release.

Don't let it worry you, JJ -- we men never grow up. We just get older, and our toys get more expensive.

Dead until Dark (Sookie Stackhouse / Southern Vampire Series #1) (True Blood)
Currently working my way through this. So far, it's boring and kind of trashy, but I can never just give up on a book, especially one that is only 200 pages.
Probably going to start Ancestor next.

I'm currently reading Percy Jackson #2 and Chi Running.
The YA books I have read are:
- Twilight Saga
- Percy Jackson Series
- Red Pyramid
- The Unsuspecting Mage
- Vampire Diaries
- Maze Runner
- Ender's Saga
- And a lot of the "classic" YA books
It has just been recently that I have gotten on a YA kick as I usually read more adult fantasy/military fiction/suspense/horror/mystery etc.ect.
The MI series is good and I am about half way done the third book. Its not as much YA as I am used to as there is swearing, intimacy, etc. I am looking forward to the infernal devices series which is going to be a prequel series the MI series. Also there is going to be a 4th book in the MI series next march I believe.
I actually asked for advice on the YA thread on an order to read some YA books and this is what they told me:
- Hunger Games
- House of Night
- Night World
- Maximum Ride
Speaking of the YA board check it out here if your interested!!!
So we will see how many of these books i get thru before i decide to go back to my usual pickings!
@ABThree Hahaha that is to funny and from my limited experience soooooo true

If you like that book, you Have to read...
That is the one I really want to read now. I'm about 2/3 through Demonkeeping and I think it is great. I was wondering if I should read his books in order though. I read on the boards earlier that you don't have to but if anyone has an opinion on this, I would appreciate it.
Thanks
