BN Nook eReader App for PC - Reloading eBooks

Recently my PC crashed and I had to rebuild the hard drive.  I installed the BN Nook ereader for the PC.

I then copied a backup of the BN directory of the ebooks that I had downloaded from BN.

The directory name is my email address, and the .epub files are in this directory.

I cannot get the BN ereader to open up any of the ebooks.  The ereader lists the books, it just cannot

open them up to read.

How do I get the BN ereader to open up my BN ebooks? 

I do NOT want to redownload my ebooks from the BN website.

Try redownloading just one book, and see if that may update the configuration somewhere (like hidden unencryption keys) so that it can open the others.  If that doesn't work, I'm guessing you'll need to do what you do NOT want to do.
