Crazy Bugs Relate to File operation( Files disappeared, etc)

Hi All

I just got my Nook for three days, and played around.

I found there are some bugs related to file operation.

1) Copy epub file to My Documents Folder on Micro SD cards, remove usb, found that the no new file show in my library.  Connect to computer again, the file disappeared.

2) Copy epub file to My Documents Folder on Micro SD cards, remove usb, the books are in my library, but when connect to PC, no file in My Documents Folder, I check all the folders, can't find the files I put into the Nook, and if I disconnect from PC, and reboot. I still can read those books.

Anyone has the same issues?

Cheers

Even after I reset my Nook to Factory Settings, the books still in my library not disappeared.....:smileysad:

I remove the SD card, the books disappeared.

If you don't eject the drive device before disconnecting the USB the copy hasn't time to complete.    This will lead to exactly what you describe.   By the way, this is not unique to the nook but exists on all devices that work similarly.   The transfer is not instantaneous.

Do you eject the SD card as well?

Yes, I did, if you use WInXP, you will notice that SD card and Nook are under same device.
