I've downloaded and moved the Barnes and Noble ereader to my Mac and plugged in my nook.
When I double click the B&N Ereader nothing launches. No note no message no nothing.
Mac is a Macbook Intel core duo running 10.4.11 OS.
What gives?

The B&N eReader app for Macs is broken. Some people have gotten it to work, but it's rather hit and miss. We've been told that an update is due "in the coming months". Of course, we've been hearing that for several months now, so I'm not holding my breath.

I just tried to uninstall and reinstall. The same thing happens. I can tell you one thing, I am still sticking with B&N. Its just a little technology error, and I am certain that they will fix it ASAP. I am running Macintosh Tiger 10.4.11 with an Intel Core.

Why don't you use NookStudy instead? Someone had suggested that at one point, stating that the ereader for Mac wasn't very good, so that's what I did.

You can copy the text of the error log. Mine follows. It would be nice if someone at App Dev would use this to debug NOOKForMAC. It's trying to make an SQLite database on my machine? Without any prior setup? ??

I had some trouble downloading NOOK study on Mac at first. If you have this problem, here's a quick fix:
1. Download NOOK study
2. Go to your 'download' folder (or wherever your downloads save on your computer)
Hope this helps!
