Sync does not work between Nook iPad and Nook Mac

Hello there.

I have downloaded Nook Mac (10.6.8/SL) and Nook iPad (iOS 5.1), but the content won't sync either way.  It's as if I have 2 apps that do not talk to each other--the opposite of how "sync" typically works. 

Any clues, anybody?

I'm having a similar problem: ipad nook app does NOT sync up last page read to the nook, but the inverse DOES work.

I have an ipad runing IOS 5.1.1 and nook app version 3.1.4.9. I also have the newest nook simple touch with background lighting. I use both devices for reading. 

Issue:

- when read on my nook previous time, I go to ipad app; it tells me there is a new page for the book I'm reading, I'm promted with option to go to that page and it works without issues.

- when I read on ipad previous time, I go to my nook and it never even aware of a new page to sync up to.

I am also having this same issue. Is there no one who can offer a solution?

As a workaround, you can manually sync to send the point in the book is sent to the servers. The problem right now is, I don't think all of the servers are back up yet. Once electricity has been resumed in the NYC area, the servers will probably come back up.

sync isn't working between iphone and ipad....did at the beginning but doesn't now...any ideas?
