Using eReader offline

I think that I know the answer to this question already but I thought that I would ask anyway. Is it possible to use the eReader on my PC offline? Like if I wanted to use it while on the plane, would I be able to access my books?

Re: Using eReader offline

As long as the books you want to read have already been downloaded into the ereader, yes.

Is there a particular setting for using the eReader offline?

When I click the desktop icon, it tries to access a server and I get an error message that it can not connect.

None that I'm aware of.  When I open the program It goes right to whatever I was doing last, which is usually an open book.

Re: Using eReader offline

Thanks Ed .....

I talked with customer service and apparently I have a firewall problem.  BUT, we were able to work around that by downloading a copy of the book to my hard drive.  Then opened the hidden menu on the left side of the screen.  From there >>> selected My Library, My Stuff and browsed until finding the eBook copy.  Yeah!
