Sam: Location, location, location

Sam,

It's true that Nook Apps are a "resource" and is presumably why they were located within this branch of the tree initially.  However, it's also true that they're a resource available exclusively on the Nook Color.

Many NC owners start their forum reading in the Nook Color area, and either never/rarely make it over here, or don't even know about it in the first place.  That makes this area less useful than it could otherwise be. 

I think it's obvious from the topic count (60) that this area gets a lot less traffic than other areas, and I don't believe that is due to a lack of interest.  In fact, a large amount of Apps discussion takes place in the General Discussion area, as a result of the less than prominent location here.

I'd like to request that this Apps Discussion area be transplanted to the NC cluster.  Or lacking that, a comment on why this location is felt to be more appropriate.  Maybe there's some logic I have overlooked.

So they did!  I float every forum I read to the top so it hasn't been an issue for me, but I know a lot of people either don't know how to do that or just don't like to.  It's much better where it is now.
