Just downloaded Update 1.2 and can no longer connect to shop for books mags, Apps etc. CAN connect to internet.....Barnes and Noble website etc.....Is there a problem or do I need support?

The servers are down. Everyone is having the same problems. If you NC was not reset automatically and all your content earased then consider yourself lucky for now and you might want to turn your wifi off until we get word things are resolved.

Now I can connect to Shop and I guess everyone else can too. It was too much to expect that a change of this magnitude would be totally glitch-free. I have a few little complaints here and there but overall, I like the new NC a lot.

I can only access part of shop. No way in the app store
Try completely powering off the NC by holding the power button down until it asks if you want to power off. Do so and then wait until it shuts off, then hold the button to turn it back on.
Sometimes this is all you need to do for a great many "problems". NCs, like computers sometimes just need to reboot.
Try connecting again.
