So far, all has (finally) gone well. I am having one problem: Is there a way to move the icons on the desktop onto 1 screen? I have to scroll left-right to get to where an icon is, even when it is the only icon on that screen.

IIRC, if you touch the icon for a few seconds you'll be able to drag it to another screen. Keep your finger on it until a little mini-menu pops up then drag it to the side of the screen and it'll switch to that screen. Keep your finger on it until you get it where you want it then release. Kind of a drag & drop.

That is what I had expected I could do. But I must have a setting wrong. Because I amnot able to "drag and drop". The icon doesn't move at all. I am getting around the problem by creating new shortcuts on the screen I weant and then deleting the original one. But this doesn't work for all (yet)

Icons can't be moved if your desktop is locked. Try unlocking the screen. Touch the "three horiz. bars" at the bottom of your screen, then touch "More," and finally touch "Unlock Desktop." Once you've moved your icons around, you can go back and lock your desktop again.

OK thanks. I would have never figured that one out - I appreciate the tip.
