Does Nook Color have Skype application?

i'm wondering that too. i just asked a similar question in a different post and discovered yours. While the NC doesn't have a camera or microphone, I thought that I read somewhere that among its specs, that is latent Skype ability.

i'm waiting for a techie to respond.

Huh?  Josie posted both of the NOOKColor discussions boards.  Both would seem to be a relevant place to ask the question.    

And for the record, there is no Skype application for NOOKColor and only B&N knows if there ever will be.

They'd have to turn on Bluetooth before there is a chance at getting Skype  running.

Check the XDA boards. Some of the devs were working on this but I'm not sure how far along they got. You would of course have to root.
