downloaded a book on my NC, it absolutely will not open and I get the message "error dialog, sorry, cannot open this book". also cannot search my library or shop, and when i go into settings, search, both library and shop are grayed out, and will not let me select either. everything was working fine until yesterday. haven't changed one thing. help!

Have you completely powered your Nook off and then back on? Not just into standby? Doing that clears up a lot of issues. Then turn on you WIFI and sync your library and see if it's better.
