I am wanting to get EzPDF or whatever other reader is available for the Nook Colour and I am wondering if it can read a file clearly without graphical errors? The issue that I am talking about is page 9 on http://expressnightout.com/printediton/PDF/EXPRESS
If somebody could check this out before I make any purchases, that would be lovely and would get several laurels. If there is a mess in the programmes, they would have to describe what it looks like.

I tried the link you provide but it returns a "404 Not Found" error. If you can post a better link to the PDF you are interested in I would be happy to try it and report how EzPDF does with it.

ezPDF is 99 cents. Why don't you buy it and try it. The new version fixes the problem of only reading PDFs on the microSD card so I am happy.

ExPDF opened it quickly within a couple of seconds. The text on page 9 that you inquired about was clear and easy to read. You can go ahead and splurge and spend the 99 cents for the program with confidence.

The text should be clear as normal but other programmes make it a mess.

The text is clear in ezPDF, with the minor exception of the two words "anyone else" at the bottom of the paragraph, which have a tiny split & skew to them (top vs bottom). Opening the same file in FoxIt on my PC shows an identical defect.
This differs from the built-in PDF reader, which I assume you've seen, which has large black bands over the bottom half of that same text, and the line below completely obliterated. Kind of like someone was using a redacting pen.
As well as a large vertical blotch to the right.
It also could not zoom in as far as ezPDF.

BTW, it might have been polite to mention that this would be a time-consuming test, given the 34 MB
size of the "test file", which took forever to download on my NC. ![]()

Sorry about that, my bad!(forgot that not everyone has access to N with their routers)
The thing is I have viewed this file on a Xoom Wifi with repligo reader, doc2go pro, and Adobe's reader. I have gotten some fuzziness with ezPDF with them as seen this morning but that is not major. Thanks to everyone who has helped. As with regards to Quickoffice Pro, I will check it out when I purchase it for myself to use.
