Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Community Manager Hours

Wow! That really is great news. I think it is very rare to have a forum administrator that announces hours when they will be available to forum members. Actually, this is inredible and it shows that B&N are working very hard to support all NOOK enthusiasts.

Re: Community Manager Hours

What happens 24/7?  I freqently wake up at 3am on a Saturday morning with a brainstorm of what is absolutely in the best interest of this community!!!  :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Forums: Community Manager Hours

I have a question, am new to the B&N community and don't know where to input.  I am taking my Nook Color to Ireland and England.  Can I receive and send email at a wifi location over there?

Hi Alabama-sunflower-- yes, your NC will be able to connect to Wi-Fi while overseas.

Re: Forums: Community Manager Hours

Hello... Is there a way to connect my Nook Color to my desktop computer in order for me to use a Nook drawing app and view it on my desktop monitor screen? Possible ideas that I've thought might allow me to connect my Nook Color and my desktop computer are...A) USB, B) Bluetooth, C) some kind of adapter, or D) one of the sync apps available for Nook. Any suggestions which of these (or any others) that would enable me to accomplish this functionality of the Nook Color? Thank you, Anthony

Of course, Sam is still present to take any inquiries; feel free to PM her with any concerns.

Thanks!
