Frozen Web Browser



I bought my Nook Color three months ago and there has been a problem with the web browser for that entire time. The internet connection is always strong because I rarely read outside of the house. The browser is fine for the first half of the day, but by evening it only loads about half of the page and, even though the circular pattern in the top left-hand corner of the screen shows that it's loading, it won't show the page. The only solution is to turn the Nook Color off and then turn it back on; it's getting pretty agitating. Is there any way to solve this problem? Thanks!

Web browsers in general save a ton of information in the background (cache data, history, cookies, form data, location data, etc...).  If you use your NC's broswer a lot, you will notice this bogging down the browser, and even the SHOP.  Try going to the broswer's settings and clearing that data and see if it improves.
