Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Magazines

I just got my Nook Color a couple weeks ago. I subscribed to Food Network and Every Day Foods and the magazines are great. I was looking through them thinking how great would be if I could somehow book mark the pages. Well after several searches I could not find out how to do it. I just figured it was not possible. I was looking through the magazine and must have hit the touch screen just right because a window popped up giving me that option. I felt so dumb on how simple it was to book mark pages and I could not figure out how:smileyvery-happy:. The magazine Ever Day Foods has a digital copy exclusive for IPad with links videos in it. It said coming to different devices soon. So hopefully the Nook Color will get it.

Re: Magazines

My biggest complaint was that I couldn't go into magazines and highlight and make notes like I can in books.  Never thought of bookmarking till I read your post.  And I just figured it out as well.  I might now have to subscribe to my magazines on the Nook!  I usually get ones like Shape, etc. and then rip out the exercises and take them to the gym.  Now I can just take my NC and look at them and not have all that paper around.  Yay!  Thanks for posting so I could figure it out as well!

Re: Magazines

When you have a magazine open, you'll see a tiny little + at the top right corner.  Tap that cnd it will create a bookmark on that page.
