I did a restore by holding the power and home button because it kept stayed on the n screen.
It restored to v1.0. I downloaded v1.2 and it upgraded it. All the apps were at the bottom of the screen and installed them.
When I open them it reads "Sorry, cannot open this book." Somehow it is in my library folder.
How can I reinstall it back into my apps?

go to your account on the bn.com website and archive all the apps. redo your restore to 1.0 and upgrade to 1.2 then unarchive the apps and it should all work as expected.
you might be able to do it without the downgrade by archiving on the website and syncing your library too but I haven't tested that.

I had the same problem and I actually had to unregister and reregister the nook to fix the problem..Someone else on board had same issue and that is what customer sevice told them to do..After reregistering it you then have to redownload the apps..
