Running very slow

Please help! My nook color continues to run slow despite deleting books, turning of wi-fi and making sure social media if off. I also clear the recent searches. Is there anything else I can do? Frustrated!!!

Have you tried turning off your NC fully? You could have items running in the background still. A full power down will stop those and could free up your system.
