I've had my nookcolor for 6 months with no problem. I tried to a book and nothing was showing up in the shop area. When I would search, it would continue searching and not stop, never giving me any suggestions. The Shop Home page shows up and when I touch a book for more info, it never gives me the info. It just does that moving circle thing. Both the web and Pandora work, so I know it's not a wifi issue (I am at home well within wifi range), but when I bought the book online with my account, it never automatically downloaded onto my nook, even though my online account says it has.
What is going on? Is there an issue with the Shop feature I'm not aware of?

I've been having the exact same problem. I brought my nook color to work with me today and I'm going to B&N at lunch to talk to someone in person there. I've been trying to download a new book for 4 days now and keep having that same problem. I'll keep you updated.

I went to the store and they powered it down all the way and brought it back up and now it's working fine. I had powered down once before, but they said it probably hadn't completely powered down because you have to wait for a button to pop up that you have to click to completely power it down. Hope that works for you.
