Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: What's the Longest Book You've Read on Your Nook?

"The Passage" by Justin Cronin (836 pages on nook)

Fantastic part one of planned 3 part epic.  Biological apocalypse story very much like Stephen King's "The Stand" with a little bit of the movie "28 Day Later" thrown in for good measure.  Story is good but the writing style is what drew me in.  Told in 3rd person, but when discussing a character the writing style fits the person being discussed.  Hard to describe, but engaging.

Can't wait for part 2 but not until 2012

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just started this book yesterday, and I'm on page 57.

Gosh, 836 pages....

I mean, the storyline is fascinating and the pace is fast, but I only have time to read right before I go to sleep, so I don't know when I'll be able to finish this book.

Man... I hope I had more time than 24 hours a day...

Re: What's the Longest Book You've Read on Your Nook?

Ken Follett's "Fall of Giants" - 1000 pgs. I'd bought the hardcover first, then paid another $19.95 for the nook version so I wouldn't have to lug that thing around!

Re: What's the Longest Book You've Read on Your Nook?

I went into BN to buy a copy of Atlas Shrugged, and came out with it loaded on my new NookColor!

I don't remember how many pages there were but they are breaking up the book into 3 movies

This is my 1st post so please bear with me, I am new to Nook, blogs, my laptop, and anything that is electronic, but I LOVE it!
