Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Who runs this Facebook page?

http://www.facebook.com/NookColorFans

They have a new post that to me is a touch misleading.

"The wait is over...Nook gets Android store and flash update..."

so you click, it takes you to a blog...that links to the article

come on now...so I call them out, they delete my comment

I call them out on deleting my comment...they delete that comment

I know the obvious answer is to just "unlike" the page, but how immature

Anyone can set up a facebook page.  FB is not a "Trusted source". Its a social ntwk. Lots of opinion and drama. :smileywink:

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

I go with recognise and ignor over censoring. To much ignorance in the world we live in. Drive ya crazy.

As I get older I am learning that. Not to say I wont pop a gasket now and then when it gets to be to much...LOL

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

I reported it to Facebook as being misleading, and hope that you'll do the same.

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

I found this paragraph interesting:

The Amazon Kindle is the #1 selling eReader, but the BN Nook is right there in second place. With Amazon announcing a feature that Nook could not match until they made their Nook Store announcement, it appeared the Kindle was pulling away in desirability. Enter the Nook Store and Flash support, and the Nook Color stands poised to steal market share from Amazon.

On the one hand it kind of indicates their lack of knowledge as to the Kindle, the Amazon apps store, and the NOOKcolor incoming apps store.  On the other hand, it kind of indicates their lack of knowledge as to the Kindle, the Amazon apps store, and the NOOKcolor incoming apps store.

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

I flashed on an article that said that Amazon was going to allow sharing on the Kindel.

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

Although it's probably true that Amazon will need to allow lending, any information that you get from that Facebook page should be suspect.  People have found plenty of inaccurate or misleading information on it.

Re: Who runs this Facebook page?

Amazon has the same restictions B&N has.  Can lend one time for 14 days and only those titles allowed by the publishers.  The same day Kindle lending went live, Penguin pulled all its lendable titles.
