1. Check you Wifi connection. Can you visit webpages using the NC browser? Without a Wifi connection you will not be able to sync the NC (the NC has no 3G, just Wifi).
2. Check your B&N account. Login to your B&N account on the B&N website (using your PC), go to your B&N library. Try to download one of the books to your PC. If this does not work something is wrong with your account, probably with your credit card details.

Sounds like your Wifi connection does not work using 1.2 (did you check your Wifi connection when using 1.2?).
If that is the case try 1.3. For most people 1.3 improved Wifi support.

i have the exact problem with my NC...only difference is,i updated to the v 1.3. nothing works... by that i mean i can't download any book; be it kids free books or otherwise.Each time i hit the downlad button a message comes up saying and i quote 'UNABLE TO DOWNLOAD INTERNAL ERRO: EXCEPTION EXECUTING THE COMMAND" Never had this problem till i updated the version. I called BN tech support and the girl was rambling about internet connection. i told her my wifi is find a billion times but she was still on the wifi thingy...i mean,it was really frustrating.Anyways, bottomline is she was unable to fix it. I need help.can someone tell me how to undo the v1.3 and go back to v 1.0? cus i never had this problem with the old version or how to fix this problem. thanx

MIMI - same answer I gave you on the thread you started. Check your B&N account online and make sure you entered all your CC information correctly since you stated that you just changed CC and did not indicate a problem before.
Just FYI - you have to have a valid up todate CC on file even to download free books.
