Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

ezPDF Wants SD Card To Run. What Gives?

I purchased and installed ezPDF (stock NC).  It installed fine but when I run it It says no SD card and quits. What gives?  All my pdfs are on the main memory.  Does anyone know the support email for ezPDF.

Also how do I associate .pdf files to ezPDF.

Apparently it will only install on the SD card. I bought a 8GB card a few days after I got my Nook, so I had no problem installing ezPDFReader. I just prefer to keep all my music, photos, videos and PDF files on the SD card. I'm afrad that you will need a SD card, but they can be bought for about $10 for a 8GB one.

For what's it's worth, here's the Twitter page for Unidocs, the maker of ezPDF Reader:

http://twitter.com/#!/ezpdf

http://www.unidocs.com is basically useless. They have a blog, but it's in Korean.

It installed fine.  I can see the menubar.  It wants to use the SD card as the startup directory and quits if it can't find it.  This is poor coding for the NC.  I have an SD card that I can use but I see this as an obstacle for a lot of NC users.

Yes. Download it from the market. The cost is 99 cents. You do need a SD card for it to install and run. Parts of it are installed on the SD card. 174 files, totalling 6.09 MB is installed on the SD card.

I am not sure why everyone is complaining about needing an SD card. If you are loading lots of PDF you will need one and they are not expensive at all unless you go for the big boys.  Yeah they should have mentioned it but then again angry Birds had problems with SD cards too and it was not mentioned in its description.

ezPDF works great and loads PDF's that just chocked the reader that came with the NC.  I am very happy with it.
