Hi Everyone. Just a few questions I am hoping someone can help me with. I read all 168 pages of the manual and can not find an answer. I am sure I just missed it.
- Why when I opened my NC I found 4 books downloaded I didn't buy?
One seems to be a "preview" and says the full book is available for purchase. The rest are full novels. Unfortunately they are not what I like to read.
2. How do I delete these books from my nook and was I charged for them?
3. How do I delete a free app that I downloaded but don't want anymore?
Once again, thank you all in advance for any and all suggestions and for your time

>> those are free books from bn.com so dont worry it wont charge your acct.
2. How do I delete these books from my nook and was I charged for them?
>> you can delete the books on your acct with 1 option and that is by going to BN.com and then sign in to your acct, go to My nook (on the upper portion of the screen next to order status), look for the book that you want to delete, click it and there will be an option to delete the book.
after you delete it on your online acct, go to your nook, go to library, hit the sync button (lower left: its like the 2 arrows forming a circle) then you wont see all those free books anymore on your acct.
3. How do I delete a free app that I downloaded but don't want anymore?
try to tap and hold the icon of the app and choose archive. I think that's the only option to delete it aside from going to bn.com

Thank You Buyoy. I appreciate it. Now to find out about the annoying small window with the alert volume that keeps popping up.

Do you have your NC in a case or holder? If not - the volume setting buttons are right about where you would hold it by hand. Make sure you aren't hitting those in error.

It's in a case. Actually it didn't start happening until I put it in a case. I will check next time it happens and make sure the volume button isn't being pushed somehow....or if I do push it it makes it go away.
Thanks

Thanks Sandi,
As dumb as I feel that was the problem with the volume. The case I have it in, the corner hold down was tight and kept pushing the volume button in. Thank you all for the help on all the questions
